Ebay 1/1 Nonsense

You are bidding on the 2010-11 Dominion Manon Rheaume #33 and 1/1 treasure for the discerning collector!!! The ONLY female to ever play in the NHL and from Quebec no less, Also an added treat is the #33 which french Canadians associate with Patrick Roy which is precious ( Very valuable ) to certain collectors!!!

Thats a good chuckle, but even better.....

Just a heads up.... all inappropriate comments and insulting bidders will be added to the blocked bidders list!!!

At least he warned us ;)

This is the guy that holds alot of my most wanted Jordan Staal cards....but his prices are way too high for me, lol.

IMO people are free to charge what they want but if they truly wanted to sell they would come to terms on a price that is at least feasible.

Ifully agree but this sale made me laugh ...

kinda sick of these "ebay 1/1" as well

i know some hardcore collectors do collect jersey # stuff, some Jordan 23/xxx demand big money

but when you think about it, every card that is serial numbered should be a 1/1

eBay needs to bring back listing fees.

I don't know, lol. Between all their fees (1. Insertion fee 2. Final value fee 3. Pay pal fee) at least I can save a bit of money on one of them.

My bum usually hurts after listing and selling on ebay, and I don't mean from sitting in my computer chair for hours on end, lol.

Oh gawd, i saw that one a few weeks back and lmao! I wonder how many 'insulting' pm's he's actually received; you would think he could take a hint.

But there is no insertion fee, at least not on auctions, that's what I was referring too. When eBay was charging $2 to start an auction at $1000 you RARELY saw the types of listings posted.

And your bum hurts because you're not paying the lube fee and rubber donut fee. :owned:

I only start actions, at least most of the time at $0.99. I didn't know about the $2 insertion fee for a $1000 auction. Yeah, I am sure people wouldn't waste $2 for this kind of listing.

a lot of people go for jersey numbered cards so they pay but they wont pay near that amount lol

I would say "big money" is an understatement for what his Exquisite 23/xx sells for.

I often feel hockey collector's are lucky there isn't the same deep pocketed crazies bidding on cards like basketball guys do...unless you're the seller. :)

Makes the Subban clowns look like amateurs.

Basketball is an international sport though, and reaches a much broader market than hockey. Plus Michael Jordan is Michael ****ing Jordan. He means more to to basketball than any player means to hockey.

There is still insertion fees......
There is? I can't remember the last time I was charged a fee for listing an auction.

The funny thing is that the girl never played in an NHL regular season game, only pre-season so I don't even know if I could consider that an NHL player. I agree with the original poster, just a publicity stunt!

I would send an insulting note his way after all I doubt I would buy anything let alone paying 300.00 for a Chris Kunitz autographed Patch card since it is numbered to 14/100 or 66/100 "a very special number to Pittsburgh fans" lol(yea might be a little corny but I couldn't help it)
