Has anyone ever filed a claim with ebay for a damaged card before? I have for non receipt, but never damaged card and was wondering what the process was after you open the claim?

Have you contacted the seller first? If not, please give them a chance to explain and make it right before opening a case or leaving a negative.

Yes i have done all that - i am also a seller, so i always give them a chance to fix it. I'm not new to ebay, so I am really only looking to know from someone who has gone through the process, from the time you open the claim, what's next? Were they able to help you if the seller never responded to the claim?

usually it will come down to you having to send back the card at your expense to get a refund after they receive it.

You have to send it back with tracking, if you dont send it with tracking, you will loose your claim.
