Ebay help (damaged item )

Hi I won a card from ebay and it came to me damaged.

So I contacted seller but he is from Canada and I am from the states. While I was reading the guidelines they stated I needed delivery confirmation.

My question is, will it be about 10.00 to ship back? I am not even sure if there is a such thing (delivery confirmation.) The card I won was 26.00 and I am not even sure if it is worth the hassel.

I could just tell the seller I am going to ship card back, but i am not paying for delivery confirmation.

what would you do?

P.S. If it was me that shipped the damaged item I would just refund the money and tell him to keep card.

There is NO delivery Confirmation via USPS. You can do REGISTERED and it will have a Tracking Number and show a delivery but no signature or delivery confirmation like USPS Priority.It'll be about 14.00 for REGISTERED to Canada and only means for having a Tacking #.
Registered does show Accpetance from your Postal ,IN CUSTIMS,and a delivery date.

Yeah he's within his rights to ask you to send it back, however, and he may be fine with you just sending back normal mail, but you're hoping he's honest and refunds you when it shows up back to him.

Yea if he is not honest, I am not going to sweat over it. I did talk to the seller and he said he was fine with it and understood.

He knows it is spendy especially when the price is half way there. I am just bummed the card was all creased up. It was a pc card /10. I am just not sure if I will find one again but I do not dig creased cards.
