So I received an SP Authentic Rookie Limited Patch Auto off Ebay the other day. As soon as I opened the bubble mailer I saw the damage on the right side of the card (pictured below) and emailed the seller about the damage.
The seller responded that the card was as listed, pulled from pack to sleeve to plastic and that I don't grade cards. When I said that the damage should have been listed in the auction description the seller went on to say that the he does not grade cards, I should have asked about the card, the card was never listed as mint and that he did not even look at the card as it was the Devils.
I find this completely unacceptable and am really ticked off about this. The seller told me he that it is my fault for not asking about the card.
The card has a nice patch on it, but if I knew about the damage I would not have bid as much as I did for it. I will be leaving negative feedback, but I just wanted to vent here as this was the second damaged card I received in as many days that did not have the damage disclosed in the auction.
