Ebay Issue- please help

Someone purchased something from me and I was a little hesitant with this guy (for whatever reason) and I paid for expresspost shipping (our of my own pocket) just to cover my @ss.

I have checked the item through Canada Post and it says this:

"2006/02/13 AM "PLACE", Item successfully delivered to Receiver's address"

He emailed me this morning and says item has no arrived. I call BS on this as I paid for express out of my own pocket. Anyways, I have inputed the tracking number through paypal and everything...

anyone ever run into this? Is it possible?

I had someone do this to me once. I emailed them back a screen shot of the tracking from canadapost.ca and then never heard back from them.

I did, I just entered the tracking number with paypal, and then it went away
Did the person have a "confirmed" address with paypal?

No, address is unconfirmed

Smells like a big stinky fish story on his part. good thing you covered you bottom on shipping. I hope this works out ok...atleast you got documentation that says package was delivered *

So its almost 2am and no email tonight... This item was sent express over 2 weeks ago IN CANADA and I've yet to hear from him. I have now got: "I will check tonight to see if the item has arrived" twice...

Ernie, I hate to say this but if he wants to get his money back, paypal will give it to him. His address is unconfirmed and through my experiences the tracing number means nothing without a signature. I have money reversed like this before and I provided the tracking number saying the package was delivered... however, maybe thats just MY LUCK as I usually get hosed pretty good by people in charge of this sort of stuff...
