ebay listing ques.. can someone please help me out

I recently listed an auction titled
2011-12 Artifacts Tunda #TT2KK Kessel / Kulemin 04/10!!...

Forgetting to list their first names "Phil and Nikolai" as this would help with showing up when ones do a search for the name Phil Kessel or Nikolai Kulemin.

There have already been 2 bids on the auction so I cannot Edit the auction to change the listing heading to...

Though I have listed auctions before I haven't really ever touched the "Add Note" before to a listing.

My question is if I were to add a note would this make the auction show up if ones searched for Phil Kessel or Nikolai Kulemin?

Hope this all makes sence. Since I only listed the card on Tuesday I still have another 5 days and 23 hr in the auction.

Please post any help that you can provide

Having the first name won't make a lick of difference. I can't imagine why anybody would search using a players first name anyway, unless you were trying NOT to see everything that's available?

When I search mike Richards and jonathan quick it DOES make a difference. Yea probably miss stuff but im not going to sit through 10000 QUICK SHIPPER descriptions just to look for his stuff and the same goes for the tons of the guys named Richards.

I can't help for this particular problem but with names a lot mote unique like kessel and kulemin it shouldn't be as big of a problem

For this case - it won't make a lick of difference in the final purchase price. For more common names it will but for Kessel/Kulemin you are fine. I never once have searched for Travis Zajac or TJ Oshie - would just muddy the waters.

In the future though - ebay now gives you significantly more characters than they have in the past so I generally highlight my auctions with the little hot searches (AUTO, GUJ, RC, etc) to make sure they get in there.

Only way to edit the title or description after a bid has been placed is to cancel the bids and/or end the auction and re-list it and hope it sells so that you don't get hit with the listing fees.

Once a bid has been placed you can't edit anything really

To answer your question, no, adding a note with keywords will not show up in a normal search by your potential buyers.

As stated it shouldn't make a difference, but if you insist on changing it there can't be any bids so either cancel bids or relist

Did you seriously cancel the bids and end the auction just to relist it with their first names? You likely just lost those 2 bidders...
