So i won this card, for an absolute steal might I add as ive seen copies of this card sell for $200+ and i owned a copy once and sold it for $175

Shortly thereafter i receive a PM from Brian (koondog44) warning me the card has been relisted under another account! I have a look under newly listed cards, and sure enough, there is the same card i just bought!:

Seller has ALMOST the same username as the one i bought, and check out the feedback!!!! 75% and 500+ transactions.... OUCH

Thanks for the heads up Brian, as thankfully i have not paid for the card yet.... any ideas as what i should do?!

thanks,

Dave

Start proceedings right away, and don't pay a cent. How bad do you have to suck to have a 75% FB rating with 500 transactions? That's brutal. On the bright side, his first personality (the one you bought from) has a better FB rating. :) I would not mess around, though. Just make sure to explain that your card has been put up for auction again, and you'll have no problem with eBay.

I have to get away from this site for awhile. All of these posts with loser sellers is making me depressed. :(

Well with the new Ebay feedback it actually is easier to get the 75% as the feedback is from all time but the rating is only for their last year... so they are one that its actually pointing out as someone that was good for a few years and then has gone bad in the last year...

Last year for them 13 feed backs. 10 positive 3 negs.... so most of that 500 positive is from over a year ago....

On a related matter, I've just been hit with my first eBay non-received item dispute ever. My feedback number is 1845 with 100 per cent positive feedback. The buyer's number is 27, also with 100 per cent positive. He won and paid for Frolov and Boumeester YG RCs ($43.01) on July 27. I mailed the package out the same day but he claims he never received it. He should have by now, of course, since it was only travelling from New Brunswick to Ontario. Rather than have this escalate to a PayPal dispute, I will refund his PayPal payment in full.
Just curious, has anyone else been dinged with non-received item disputes since the new eBay rules have been put in place? Bruce

Good luck with the card Dave! I actually bid on another one of his auctions (quad jersey re-listed again) just to keep an eye on it. I think I might just have to win it and stick it to seller...lol. The guy was actually dumb enough to re-list some of the cards while the first auctions were still running. I originally sent the guy an email saying "You are already selling this card with your other account", but suprisingly I never heard back.

This is what happend with eBay doesnt verify accounts. Anyone can pretty much sign up with a credit card. Paypal calls you to at least verify your phone number. eBay should do the same. Ive had to file NPB againt people with this phone number 111-111-1111. I let ebay know, they said they would look into it, but nothing happened. The guys account is still a registered user.

Contact ebay right now get it done and over with ASAP
