eBay question: Ended early

I haven't bid on anything in awhile on eBay. Before when an auction ended early, the auction specifically stated that. In one of their wonderful upgrades they have decided to do away with this feature. I can't even find a start time. So, for this auction, how do I know if it ended early or not? (Other than the price)

0 bids, $0.99 bid price.....pretty good indication that it ended early.

He only ended it because of the error in the title. It's relisted

I actually have another auction in mind that started at $50, has ended without a bid. How can I tell if it was ended early. Is there really no way anymore?
