In order to acquire an SPGU black rainbow parallel, It appears that I will need to wade in to the Epack world and trade for it. Couple quick questions for those with experience. First, is it possible to trade across brands? Second, when I search for the card I am interested I see 11 copies; can I contact the owners directly through email on the epack site to try and work out deals.

1. Yes you can trade across brands. You can trade anything for anything on there.

2. Yes as well. Click on the username of the person who has them, and there will be an option to send them a PM

Good luck, it is very difficult to trade for the purples.

I had to overtrade to complete my Monahan Black Rainbow. And that was with trading other purples for him.

I tried briefly to trade for the Kylington purples, but that didn't work out. Nevermind trying for Tkachuk.

trading for enough purples to get a black is very hard, very very hard. There seems to be a log jam on there right now.

I've managed to trade for enough purples to get 3 black rookies completed and 3 vets completed.

I had to find some willing individual's that would sell my bulk though at 3.00 (on average) per purple.

I'm still looking for 3 Miles Wood and 4 Pavel Zacha, they are "said" to be available.

The problem is that 90% of the people on there don't respond to trade offers or respond to pm's even if they ask for them. It's very frustrating.

That's the crazy part! the Purples are selling for such a low amount on COMC, but trading for them, is a different story.

I shake my head when I see people on there bulk transferring their purples to COMC. If they took some time and did some trading, even just purple for purple and made some blacks, they could ask for a lot more for Blacks than 5 purples on COMC.

Trading on there is beyond painful. I was trying to get 50 Henriques for a red in Compendium and I'd spend a couple minutes looking for people that had only one or two of them so it was obvious they weren't building his rainbow. I'd then make sure to offer a card of the team in their avatar and I'd try to offer them players they seemed to have a lot of incase they were going for that person's rainbow and I'd still get rejected offers.

I get offers expiring because you don't visit every day but to reject a 2 for 2 compendium trade when it's obvious the cards you're giving up are of no value to you and are just gonna sit there in your digital collection forever is just rude and an overall negative for the hobby
