expired redemption question - help!

hello,

so, today i opened a bunch of wax - kinda got hammered. the best pull was a 07-08 sweet shot sidney crosby stick auto /25 redemption. it expired a few months ago :|

how should i deal with this. any ideas?

CALL UD

i pulled a Dany Heatley of they exact same card just a couple weeks back....i spoke with Greg, he was very nice and said he'd make sure i recived the heatley because it had been made and not originally replaced...

call UD customer service. if the card was made and is still in stock, they'll probably send it out. if not, they might shoot something your way anyway. certainly couldn't hurt either way. worst case, you're no better off.
 
It's the risk you take when you open a product of a certain age.

That said, there is nothing to lose if you call UD and explain the situation. They aren't obligated to give you anything, but many times they'll be sympathetic and send either the card or something else your way.
 
actually, you can email them. i did it the other day after busting a bunch of 06/07 parkhurst. they will get back to you in a few days and give you a case number, asking you to send a hard copy of the email along with the expired redemptions. don't know how long it will take for them to come through, and they don't ask what replacement guidelines you have, but hey... something is ultimately better than nothing.

We had a customer who pulled 2 redemptions from the 06/07 Parkhurst product that had expired a few months past. One email to UD and they asked for him to send in the redemption cards for replacement. I think UD is being extra nice these days in order to keep customers.
 
While I do not disagree with calling them or emailing them to see what they might be able to do, it is in the end expired, and I would go in expecting nothing, and anything they do send would be a bonus.

They do put expiry dates on these things for a reason.
 
Call UD. I pulled a Heatley stick/auto and a Crosby puck auto at Expo. They were both expired and UD came through on both.
 
hey dudes,

i just got off the phone with james at UD. he gave me a case number & told me to mail the redemption card to them. he also said, the card was in stock! soooo - fingers crossed!!! i would be very pleased to get this card, needless to say.

also, i just got my mike modano rbk edge 2.0 home jersey in the mail - life is good!!!
