"Expired" redemptions

So I pulled some redemptions that expired recently.
Some people say if you call UD may honour them.

Any hints/advice/truth to the matter?

Do some people have extra "pull" at getting them?


No biggy if I don't get them redeemed I know what I was getting into, but hate to miss out on it if it is possible.

PS I am looking for this expired redemption... the card was never released so I'd like the redemption card if it is around.

they honor redemptions upto a year gone past, I just talked to them recently but unfortunatly the one i pulled was more than a year past expiration, you should be able to redeem it, just call UD customer service.

Last year I bought a box of 2006-07 SPx and pulled Auto Jersey Rookie card redemptions of Evgeni Malkin and Dustin Boyd. They had both expired so I phoned Upper Deck and explained to them that I just bought the box and pulled 2 redemption cards that had expired. She asked me which 2 and she put me on hold to see if they still had more copies of the cards. She came back to the phone less than a minute later. Said they did, took my info, and in just short of 2 weeks the 2 cards were in my mailbox.

I was pleasantly surprised, and found the person on the phone very helpful.

If they don't have your card, they will send you something else

Just redeemed a rookie redemption from 08-09 MVP. Website has updated the status to "Cards are being pulled and prepared for shipping." Didn't that would go through, but so far so good.
