Went to the expo on day 1, wow were the growds ever sparse. Went there to mainly work on a couple of PC projects, did manage to pick up some cards but most of the dealers were feeling the financial pinch early and were not willing to move too much on prices or were very one sided on trading [one dealer was trying to offer me $50 in trade for a $200 card 
]. Could also be the dealers I was dealing with were just not interested in dealing early and hoping for a better day 2 and 3. I have no complaints with any of the dealers as I wouls be the same way if I was on the other side of the table, as I used to be years ago and can understand their early frustrations.
Anyways it was great to finally meet some other members at the HI table and chat about the hobby in person and not by this machine. Saw some members pull some nice cards at the ITG booth and some also got some very nice redeptions. I don't know if it was just on Friday or not, but the ITG booth was way bussier that the UD booth, there just never seemed to be any more than 1 person at their booth at any one time.
I didn't find the UD reps to be to responsive to problems either. I approached their booth with a redemption problem and the first word out of one of the guy's mouth was "Good thing Karvin isn't hear to hear this, he thinks all of his redemption problems are behind him"
Not exactly what I was expecting to hear from a rep from a company, any company. All I was given for my problem was an email address to write to to try and solve a missing card issue. :|:|:|

Anyways I did open 3 boxes of Between the Pipes and 1 box of H&P at the ITG booth. Excuse the yellow line down the scans, the scanner is getting way too old and startint to have problems

Meeting one of the Greatest Hockey Players, and my hero as a kid. What a great guy to meet in person. Shakes your hand, makes sure his signature is legible and makes everyone feel like they are special.
