Hey everyone, I just wanted to post my show & tell thread to wrap up this most recent Expo. I was pumped to make it out in time for the HI Dinner on Thursday night. It was great seeing a bunch of familiar faces and to meet some new ones.
I actually set up a showcase at Investment Sports Cards (Rod & Vic) directly across from a few other great guys (Quincy, Frank, Steve, Norm and of course The Mayor). You all made the trip a lot of fun and I can't thank Rod & Vic enough for helping me out!
The selling was scarce, but the buying went pretty well:
Here were a few of the highlights:
** These and almost 1,000 other cards will be getting listed to my Ebay store over the next two weeks. Everything from The Cup to older ITG Jersey/Sticks! Link is below! I officially have no shame.
The PC pickups below are some of my favorites that I have ever found at an Expo:
** This card was actually sold on EBay last month. It sold for $320. I was obviously surprised to see it in a dealer's showcase with a lower asking price. Long story short, the buyer never paid and I gladly traded a card and a small amount of cash to get it for my collection.
** This next card is actually my second copy of one of my favorite cards from my favorite set. One of the best swatches I have seen on a Vezina memorabilia card and the price was right as well.
** It's almost impossible for me to leave the Expo without bringing home at least one President's Choice card. The design, quality, uniqueness, and customer service have been outstanding and I am very happy to have this card in my Rangers 1/1 collection.
** This card comes with a big stick tap to Jeremy (Gomaz) for getting a trade done with me. I must say, our negotiating skills are impressive. This piece adds to my set and gets me one step closer! Great catching up with you Jeremy!
