Alright, you've seen the sport haul. Time for the non-sport goodies.
We'll start with the rest of the stuff Jeff was kind enough to pick up for me. WAYYY too many sellers refusing to ship non-sport to Canada.
Ah, Londo...perennially losing his *** at the gaming tables. This finishes a project, but you'll have to wait for mail call to see that.
This Furlan was a special Con-only issue. Stolen for a little less than 35% of what they usually sell for.
I like this card. I don't like the quote. You know what quote belongs with Worf, you all know:
"Today is a GOOD day to die!"
Last but not least:
Speakin' of quotes... "Silly little planet. Anyone could take over the place with the right set of mammary glands."
Yep.
Moving right along, some show pickups:
Ill tempered, sarcastic, bitter jackass lawyer. What's not to like?
Universe's greatest wingman. EVER. Always had Han's back.
Great likeness of Short Round, and the plate is an iconic screen moment. I likey.
Save the Cheerleader. Save the world.
Some Marvel 70th sketch pickups. Beta Ray Bill and Emma Frost come from Scott/Spiral8:
And now, on to the only wax I really broke at the show - Iron Man 2! Quite happy with the break. A few people asked me "Why are you breaking that?" "What was the last UD product, never mind SPORT product where your reaction was "COOL!" when you got your box hits?"
I didn't scan the costumes. Because, well, it's clothing. Go look in your coat closet.
Color sketches:
The Widow sketches in particular are well done.
The Widow looks like Kim Possible. Rood's sketches and the Stark are particularly catchy.
Hawkeye, Doc Strange, Fury. Shellhead doing what looks like a Batman impression with the upside-down sketch. And I think bottom left is Mister Sinister, though if anyone can say otherwise for certain please let me know.
Last but not least, the auto hits:
As Dennis Miller used to say - that's the news, and I am OUTA here. Comments welcome.
