Went off to miy night school class having put a bid in on this item, an Alzner/Pietrangelo Cup Dual Honorable Numbers Redemption /27. Its the first I've seen, and is another card that wasn't on the UD checklist. Wasn't expecting to win it, as I'm sure I'll see others in the future, perhaps even in redeemed form. But I thought I'd throw in a bid in case I could pick it up for a reasonable price. Came home to find out what it sold for.

All that came to mind was: Are you kidding me?

Holy Schnikeys! I'm wondering if that's a player collector, or someone trying to put together that set though. Either way, that's a healthy price for that card.

Yeah I was saying the same thing last year about the Rask SP Authentic redemption. Typically rare cards + redemption + not on the checklist + crazy set/player collectors = $$$$$

Doesn't surprise me. There's at least two set builders working on the HN set, plus there's a dedicated following each for Alzner and Pietrangelo. If anything, that's a little lower than I think we'd have seen for a live card.

That is what's crazy about this hobby, set builder for sure bid that bad boy up! If that card was live and packed out you'd have it in your hands for less than $100

CRAZY!
