Face, meet palm - overpricing at its finest

where does their "list price" come from? The list you read after smoking too much herb?
 
That site has unbelievable pricing IMO....
I wonder if they actually have all the stock they say they do. I mean, I searched all my contacts earlier in the year for Seguin jerseys, and no one had one. Yet they had lots..

I have never dealt with them. Has anyone here? Would like to know what they thought of their stuff.

you are charging $20 / slot for 30 slots on a single pack of the cup group break. $600 for one tin of the cup ...that's unbelevable pricing too IMO.

I am one of the cheaper breaks out there. Another site is doing full case breaks and their tin pricing comes in at $611.

You forget to take in account paypal fees, shipping and taxes that have to be paid by us on each slot. We are a legal company, and as such, pay the necessary taxes for each payment. Although not as high as usual, there still is the supplies, time and postage needed to mail out the break product after.

But I see where you are coming from. I thought I would put a very low cost break out there so that people that usually cannot afford The Cup can get a chance at getting a great card for a little money. If that is not your cup of tea, that is fine. I just hope that in the future we can put a group break out there that is priced more in line with what you find as affordable.

well if I rolled the pennies in my ashtray and picked some bottles maybe I could participate, but look up some of imperial garden's group breaks for good pricing.
26 spots at $113 per on a case....489 per tin and he drops the 4 teams that go hitless as a rule. So that's $111 you put in your pocket over and above his price because he still has pp fees and shipping too
See your sarcasm wasn't lost on me, but heck of an effort.

oh yeah , I forgot to mention. He throws in a bonus to anybody that goes hitless. Not huge, but a gesture a pack of artifacts or something like that.

I'm in no way trying to stir the pot but I have a question. If there's 5-7 cards in a tin doesn't that mean you're only shipping out 5-7 packages? I like group breaks and I see both sides opinions here but I had to ask.

Well, you are correct with the shipping.
I put the break out there for those who wanted it, and at an affordable cost. It was an experiment to see if it was going to appeal to enough people.
It seemed to as it filled, as did 2 others that we had, one instore and one elsewhere on the internet.
As for your comment about sarcasm, I truly did not intend for any to be implied. It was stated that someone thought it to be too expensive, and that is your opinion. I was just stating that in the future, we hope, and we TRULY DO hope that we can offer a group break that would appeal to each and every member at one time or another on this site.
I apologize if I offended you in any way. It was not meant to do that.
 
I like how they have a bunch of stuff from Frozen Pond for double the price of Frozen Ponds own site. I bet they get a lot of business.....
