yep i think you are correct.....a couple of fake patch threads on multiple boards and i think im just meshing info together

There is a thread over on SCF showing that "ilovenyr" bought the original card and resold it with the fake patch.

Yup, I saw that thread myself. I'd say it's proof for sure, but I think Bruce would need to evaluate the situation himself.

While I agree the first card is faked, since we have no solid proof that HE faked it, I'm not at liberty to release his personal information due to privacy laws here in Canada. If I had actual proof of the original card and the faked one, that would be a no brainer... it's not the case here.

So, would this be enough evidence?

And unfortunately, Breakawaycardz purchased the card not knowing it was faked.

It looks like that patch is from a hat or something, the scale on the logo is so small

There's no other place that could've come from except the chest emblem, which is too large for that swatch window.

Compare that with this;

(The Tip of the N in IslaNders crossing into the stick)

Or this;

(The part of the island on the right hand side of the emblem as it breaks into two.)

If I had to wager a guess, he probably took it from a mini jersey or a hat.

Logo is WAY too small. That's like half of Long Island from the logo inside the window. That's like 1/30th the size of what you'd find on the jersey.

I suppose, but then again I don't really pay much attention to Isles cards or patches in general anymore because of this type of thing. In fact I don't even own a patch card whatsoever anymore.

as you can see here in this patch of the ISLAND, sometimes it is much larger in person than a photo.

Figure that this would help to use as a comparison.
