Feaster busy shopping Bourque (and/or others)... but for what?

I just can't see Iginla being traded this season. So much salary comes off the books in the offseason, Feaster has a real chance to make some good signings and turn things around. If that doesn't happen then I can see Iginla being shipped at the deadline next season, right before his contract ends.

How long does Iginla have on his contract?

2011-12 and 2012-13 both at 7 mil per.
Could this be where the wings spend that cap space??? We are known to grab those 35+ players that want a ring
Wishful thinking probably, we'll need a Dman next year after Lidstrom's 6.2M comes off the books (unless Brendan Smith is good to go..) and Kronwall needs to be signed as well.

I was thinking a good young guy like Luke Adam... a first rounder who can contribute now. Unfortunately, we've had a history of picking up other team's former first rounders who flop.

I would be uuuuuuuuuupset if the Sabres dealt Adam but I don't see that as being realistic unless they get a star-calibre player in return.
