If first you don't succeed ah hell just spend more. Been chasing the Wendel Clark autothreads since they first came out, I have bid on 4 with no success. I know of another 2 that in personal collection so I was starting thinking that 6 out of the 10 are already spoken for. The price of these are starting to show that the demand is more then the supply allows, first one sold for $140us on ebay and the prices have been getting higher with everyone sold (last one sold for $260). So another one appears with 12 seconds left I bid enough that I would possible have to sell my car to buy it....I was soooo sick of getting outbid. This one was going to be mine, so my new moto is "If first you don't succeed just bid that high that no sain person could possible outbid you". Thank God there wasn't a shell bidder on this item. Anyhow here it is

Thanks guys. I hear ya Fritz however I have only been picking up Clark GU and auto's. I am not trying to get base or parelells just a few Clark & Gilmours.

yeah the regulars can be had pretty cheap, although I usually don't buy them on ebay because you end up paying more than full book by the time you get them shipped. I only have one clark gu and a handful of autos so I keep a good eye on ebay for them.

are you collecting any of his autos from when he was with other teams or just leafs unis?

He already does pretty much contorl the market, I had 3 Autothreads that he bought from me: Gilmour, Esposito, and Coffey, he's buying up everything he can, he must have 4-5 copies of each player at a minimum.. He bids an insane amount each time..

Yeah I know, I may try for a Gilmour one if any comes up again. They normally sell for less then $150 but who knows what amount he will bid.
