Finally! My dream has come true!

Whats going on everyone? It's been a while since i have been around. My card collecting days have dissolved almost completely and now i just go around collecting autographs and game used items. Anyway, i hope i begin to start showing up around here more now...

Its been a great year, and a great end with the pens winning the cup. It has been my dream since i was 2 and 3 years old when i watched the pens capture their cups in the early 90s watching on tv with my dad, to see the pens win the cup in person. Going to detroit for game 7 was probably the best game i have ever been to in my life!

As a present to myself and to help remember the pens remarkable season, i bought myself a little gift 2 weeks ago. I have wanted one ever since he came into the league and was drafted #1 by the pens a few years ago. I am now the proud owner of a...





MARC ANDRE FLEURY GAME WORN JERSEY!!!

this jersey is SWEET! tons of game use to be seen. from the puck and stick marks on the front and on the arms, to the red paint from the goal post on the sleeves and the back numbers. this jersey has it all! i even photo matched it!

it was worn from January 5th until the end of the season (when the penguins wore their 2nd set home jerseys).

Not my first, I also have a pens chris thorburn jersey from 06-07. That jersey is nothing though compared to this one!

I'm most amazed by the paint on the back of the jersey. Did he have an itch he just needed to scratch, or did they use some cheap fisher-price "My first paint kit" to paint the posts?

That's funny, I remember when Fleury was wearing that jersey he had that red mark on the back for pretty much the whole time. I remember thinking how easy it would be for whoever ends up with it to photo-match it because of that.

yeah, its pretty hard to miss all of the paint. its actually much easier to see in person, along with all of the other paint/pucks marks. i just cant seem to find a photo of the back of the jersey. i've looked for pics that show the back numbers with red paint but have had no luck yet
