I posted this on Beckett, only to have it relegated to the seldom used game used memorabilia board. Now, no one there will get to see it. Thanks for the move!

After years of searching, a few near misses and tons of undeliverable promises, I FINALLY got my hands on my FIRST Jason Spezza game used stick. This was used on December 10th at Columbus. My next trick is to find shots from that game to photo match this now...anyway, enjoy the pics (stolen directly from the auction)...

is that a wooden stick or comp shaft with a wooden blade?

Part of me wishes it was wood :)

LOL, now you see one of the many reasons I left there almost a year ago. Ryan, you should come hang out here with the big ballers more often and get away from that pit!

Don't get me wrong, it's good to visit here and there and check out all the children whining, crying, fighting or mindless banter. Plus, there are a few solid folks over there who have valuable input (but they're pretty much all members here anyway ;) ).

So yeah, it's worthless.......:rolleyes:

Congrats on the huge acquisition. I know you have a gamer of your boy as well so you're doing nicely.:D

I would say shoot for a helmet next. Those are almost as tough as gamers.

Maybe some gloves and skates too?:confused: Heck, get a mannequin and cover that bad boy head to toe!:) ;)
 
Thanks, fellas. It's a complete wood shaft and blade, however, the stick is broken in the middle and there's a piece cut from the blade. Personally, I think it tells a better story than a stick that is not broken, and for the price I got it for (less than 50% of what other sticks have been offered to me), I ain't complainin'! I won't be playing hockey with it anyway, so to me, it's all good.
 
Cool stick Ryan. It's a great feeling getting a stick of your favorite player ehh!

and Barrie, I'm close to a Perry mannequin which is scary haha.. missing the Hockey Pants and Helmet.. but it would look weird having a mix of the old and new uni's lol.

Awsome win Ryan. Everytime I go to a Sens game i try and get there an hour to an hour and a half early to check out the pro shop.. I usually only ever find a bunch of 3rd liners... a month ago though, there was a handful of alfies.. There is also a Spezza one piece but it must have only been used in practice as he has never used one i n a game.. anyways congrats.
