This is a confession, I have been obsessed with pulling a Connor Bedard auto. Spent way, way too much money trying to pull one. Yes, I had bought three on eBay but I wanted to PULL ONE! A couple weeks ago I actually told the guys I had given up the hope of ever pulling a Bedard auto. I am DONE!
Over the years, I have had way more than my share of luck in hitting some amazing cards but I had never come close to pulling a Bedard auto from any product and believe me, I tried!
Yesterday I got a crazy idea that it is time to get rid of hundreds of sets that I have put together over the years so I text the owner of the local to see if he was interested in me trading these in for some instore credit? Might get something special and clear out space as well.
I got up at 5:00 AM and started to look through what I could live without. Loaded up the cards and decided to take the sets to the local on my lunch hour since Thursday is my work from home day.
As I am driving over there, I kept thinking do I want try a pack of 2024/25 Premier? I had watched multiple breaks and it appeared that the cards you actually want to pull were very far apart. Most packs yield a couple hundred dollar loss in value.
Get to the store and the employees help me unload the car and I look over an see ONE lone pack of 2024/25 Premier. I pick it up but then I ask the store manager if they have another case that I could pull from. He starts looking through the cases of unopened product and I tell him to forget looking I will go ahead and buy this last pack since we don't know the amount of store credit I will get for these sets until they go through all of them over the next couple of weeks.
Rip and pull out the jersey card and a Matthew Tkachuk base card. Next card was an auto jersey card of nobody you want. So, it's time to look at the Rookie Patch Auto card but I notice that there is another card below the RPA!
So while the RPA is still covered I slide the card below out and could NOT BELIEVE IT! Finally the obsessed nightmare to trying to pull a Connor Bedard auto is over!

FINALLY!!!!!!
RPA was nothing special like so many other packs I saw opened on Youtube. If I was selling it might bring $30.00 to $35.00
