First break in about 3 years

Before tonight, the last thing I had opened was a case of 2006-07 Parkhurst right after it came out in 2007. I started to get the itch again and the combination of redemptions expiring on 4/24 and receiving a nice bonus at work I decided to give Parkhurst another shot. I was having a bad day, so I ended up treating myself to 2 cases. I busted the first 1 tonight. This will just be a tell right now as I'm way too tired to start scanning.

Case 1 was simply out of this world. In my wildest dreams I couldn't have imagined doing this well. It all started with box #2. I pulled my case hit in the second box and it happened to be 1 of the 7 dual autographs I still needed; Phil Esposito / Tony Esposito. After that I proceeded to pull 3 Short Printed autographs. Unfortunately, one of those was Danny Gare, but the other 2 are among the better ones you could pull. The second best was a Ray Bourque Captains autograph. The best? Patrick Roy!

Case 2 is going to be such a disappointment tomorrow in comparison

I'll post results and scans here when I'm all done.

You should have been more specific. I pulled about 3-4 of them, just none of them autographed

As predicted, case 2 paled in comparison. Highlights were Bob Probert / Joey Kocur dual (redemption), Clark Gillies Enforcer, Adam Oates Captain, Bill Gadsby, and Guy Lafleur.

Case #1 had a total of 2 redemption cards.

Case #2 had 6 redemption cards including 3 that came out of a single box.

As expected, case 2 was a big disappointment. I finally had a chance to do some scanning, so there is now a picture of the bigger hits in the original post.

It did not expire. I redeemed it. It's still listed as "In stock, item will be shipped soon"
