I don't get the catwoman feel, just a hot chick in leather.

I dig it. Christopher Nolan has brought a realism to the Batman movies. Remember that Selina Kyle is a thief first and foremost. I'd rather her be geared more towards that than dressed in a ridiculous costume with cat ears like Pfeifer or Berry.

Oh no for sure. But when you look at Ledger's Joker, Bale's Batman or Eckharts Two-face their character really felt as though it held true to the comic while making it as real as possible.

This is just a chick in leather.

I liken this more to his scarecrow. He just had him throw on a mask instead of doing the whole outfit with the hat and straw poking out of everywhere.
