I was watching the Wings v. coyotes game tonight and late in the third period with Detroit well ahead they were penalized for a second consective time giving Phoenix a two man adv. Shortly after that Phoenix coughed the puck up and nick lidstrom went down on a semi breakaway with a defender right behind him hooking him. Nick got in took a weak shot as he was being held. Nick was giving a penalty shot on this play. I can't recall a time where a team that was down two players was awarded a penalty shot. I am sure this has happened several times before but In have never seen it happen till tonight. Just thought I would throw that out there...
