first-time with a redemption that takes so long...

hi there..
since I rarely buy packs and most often buys on the net, I rarely have redemption cards. But, I bought a few UD Black Modano redemption. I redeemed the cards on octobre 22nd. The first one, Mullen/Modano dual marks of obsidian says that it shipped january 1st. I still haven't received it. I live in Quebec. Is it normal that it's so long???

the second one is the Modano lustrous materials. it's still written "athlete commited to signing soon, please be patient".

Like I said I don't really know what makes it so long. I'm surprised about Modano since he signs a lot of cards. What do I do? I wait? Contact them?

I am still waiting on cards that say shipped on Dec 30th. Don't worry yet.

I wouldn't worry, sometimes i get them before the 14 days expecting, sometimes a month, all depends on the post offices

I waited almost 2 years for a card they said they had shipped.

It takes longer to come to canada usually. Give it a couple more weeks then give them a call.

UD saying that they have shipped it and it actually being shipped are two different things... it might not actually leave their office for up to another week after they have changed your status... really it only means that your cards have been packaged up and have a shipping label on the package.

UD is usually pretty good with their guess-timated arrival dates. i usually receive my redemptions by the 14th day. you being in canada, i'd imagine you'd have to wait an extra week or 3 normally.

as for the modano lustrous materials, is it the version /25? i'd have faith in it being made since i pulled the Gold /10 (actual live card, not redemption) from my box break. it's available in my traders section.

yes it's the one /25. That's what is weird. The one /10 has popped up a few times on ebay but the one /25 is a redemption.

I got 2 cards from UD on Saturday. They said the cards were shipped on December 30, but the postmark on the cards was January 22. So it is quite possible that your package was just shipped, in which case it may still be a few weeks before it makes it way to Quebec. Good luck!
