But..and i dont mean this in a absolute negative way, I fail to see the drawing power for the price point, not to mention the ROI to a flipper (which Im not) . To me as a hobbyist and collector, I just cannot justify footing that bill with out the possible return of a cut of an deceased old timer, a jordan or bron auto.

Diamonds may be a girls best friend but i see no enhancement to a trading card!
 
Is it just me, or does Kyrie Irving look like a grizzled 40-year old veteran there? Wow.

I guess that's a pretty good break by the looks of it, but echoing what oasis said, the product really doesn't justify the price point for me. Especially when you get a smudged auto as one of the hits (Mutumbo).
 
Wow that's one of the better/ overall cases I've seen of flawless bkb. Great hits on the Drummond, lillard, Davis, and Kyrie. Thanks for the show and tell mark!

I didn't see it either.

But a lot of deep pocketed hobbyists do see it. While a case breaker can get a great ROI in this product or a big steaming goose egg of a break it is the patient man who will clean up on this. The price per pack/briefcase has already gone up $250-400. In a couple of years you will have doubled or better your ROI on unopened packs. Prices on the diamond base cards have jumped up a lot. A Lillard base just went for $3300 and a Kyrie base with emerald /5 went for just under that. a quick ebay search shows 27 base cards either /20 /5 or /1 have sold for over $1000 with over a 100 other cards selling for over $1000 as well. 200+ more cards selling between $450 and $800.

You get 10 cards a pack 1 being a base. like any product there is a huge risk but it has a lot of basketball hobbyists talking. Exquisite has been the BB standard with 03/04 being the holy grail of high end. As an example to non basket ball collectors a Lebron RC from it /99 can sell anywhere from 15,000 and up. Yes 15K and I emphasize the UP. Am I saying Flawless will replace Exquisite? no. But I am saying that without its NBA license Exquisite loses some of its luster and given time and if Panini stays to the very limited model of production in Flawless, in a couple of years you just may see it being talked about as the new holy grail.
