For all of you with Beckett Mag Subscriptions

So I live on Vancouver Island, which is a short ferry ride from Vancouver. Usually mail takes an extra day to get here than those who live in Vancouver itself. I'm pissed off... I pay for the Beckett mag (why, I don't know!) and have for over a year now... and each month it takes longer and longer to get here. I've talked to others in smaller towns / cities in both Canada and the USA, and most seem to receive around the 1st of the month. October? Came on the 15th... November? the 12th... December? wow... the 8th!!!

What the h*ll is the point of the subscription if the local yokels get the thing before I do?

Does anyone else have this sort of issue? I'm done with Beckett anyways, but it's a nice benchmark for values, even if they're out to lunch on lots of it...

Had the same problem with my subscription arriving about the 15th - 18th of the month after release. The local corner general store was getting his copies a week before my subscription arrived which was already another week and a half after the hobby store got his copies. I have no problem with the hobby store getting his when he does (after all it is his business and they are delivered by his supplier with his preorders), but the subscription copies should be close behind them. The corner store gets his magazines delivered to him once every 2 weeks and he was still before me?????
I contacted Beckett by email when my subscription came due to complain about it and this was there response:

Thank you for your email. The Hockey magazines are shipped out on the third Wednesday of each month then it takes 3 weeks for arrival. The stores get them about a week before then because they pay extra for priority shipping. There is nothing we can do about having them arrive any sooner than 2 weeks after the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Please advise if we can be of further assistance.

Needless to say....I didn't renew my subscription. I buy it at my local card shop when I feel the need to find card values.
