Forsberg again?!?! Really?!?!

He was a great and respected player, but his continuing saga of showing up when the playoffs come around is getting old. If you can't hold up during the regular season grind, don't try to be making an entrance when arguably the most focus is put on the league, both by the fans and the teams. They mentioned this as being like Favre and the NFL, but at least he showed up during the regular season. Totally agree with you Trevor, enough already.

I'll take Forsberg any time, especially in the playoffs.

He wont play if he isnt at 100% and cant help the team. Favre refused to walk away even when it was obvious he was hurting his team. Favre is a ME, ME, ME guy. Forsberg is in no way like Favre.

Forsberg at 50% is still better than most in the league. i'd love to see him get his engines going again for another run.

It would be good to see him in a uni again, but it didnt work last time and the history is kind of annoying.

Give him a shot to see where his health is, then go from there.

Foppa!!!!!!

At no point was I ever or would ever question his ability as he's a HOF'er as far as I'm concerned. My problem is the constant injuries and the comebacks year after year for partial seasons. I say give it up already as the body isn't cooperating with the mind.
I will agree with several on here though he was a great player I just am sick of the continuous comebacks that end up in injuries after 5 games.

Part of me wants Foppa to just let it be and retire. Part of me is impressed with his sheer desire to play. And the Favre comparison wasn't necessary--Favre's saga is because he's selfish; Forsberg's been unable to stay back because of injuries.

If he comes back and thinks he can play near his old level, it'll be awesome to see him back. But if it doesn't work this time, I'd kind of like this to be it.
