We decided at long last to start clearing the clutter in our office and a couple boxes of donation and an hour of organizing or so, I found this which I knew I had, but didn't know where I'd put it:

Yes...it's a stick blade you say.

With the name of the city I call home...but who does it belong to?

It belongs to none other than......Randy's hero :goal: :goal:

A Pavel Bure Game Used Stick Blade from his time in Vancouver. This blade is from early on in his career...used at some point between 1991 and 1993. The seller I got it from said he got it in 1994 in a cards for memorabilia exchange and thought it might have been used in the 94 playoffs, but I believe Bure had switched off this particular blade and moved onto black ones by the 93-94 season. If you check his early cards, he's using this particular blade

It's had a bit of use since there's a chunk missing out of it at the top.

Anyway thanks for the peek. Was a pleasant surprise to find it after so long of it being MIA

I hate you.

There is no hockey player I despise more than 'Valeri's brother.' The third darkest day in Canuck history was the when they brought that whiny, self-centered, egotistical, it's-all-about-me Russian POS into the franchise. The only redeeming quality he ever had was booting the Flamingos from the playoffs in game 7 OT.

If you ever alude to the fact that I even remotely liked that %*#(%#r, I will hunt you down and make your life as miserable as mine is. Remember, I know where you live.

Congratulations on finding material to use for heat in case of emergency.

Seriously don't hold back......tell us how you really feel:devil:

That is awesome Matt. I hate the Nucks but man was that guy fun to what. The best canucks player of all time!

Orca Pod;1436749= kind of a weird thing to have misplaced said:
Yeah, I knew I had it somewhere in the house, but wasn't sure if it was in the office or if I'd stored it since it wasn't with my other sticks.

nice treasure...nice find.

I am still looking for that gold bar I misplaced back in 95...it's gotta be some where underneath the piles of newspapers ...I just know it!

seriously though, nice find

:o you can misplace that again into a box, and then at the post office counter, and then at my house. That's a hell of a piece, I love the Russian Rocket!

Congrats on the find, literally.

Matt, that is a cool find after thinking it may have been lost! I once lost an Ovechkin Black Diamond rookie. Found it over a year later on the floor in my basement. Great feeling!

Randy I need to thank you dude. You comment (copied below) made me laugh more than any ever has here on HI. Thanks buddy!

Matt,
Why no love for Balki Bartokmous (he made Perfect Strangers), and Harriette Winslow it was her job at the newspaper that led to the spinoff. . .come on ;).

Sweet find Matt. You can always send that off to Randy if you are ever in a "giving" mood. I'm sure he'll treasure it for the rest of his life. :p

There's a Myposian collector that made my Balki collecting life a living hell...and collecting Hariette's a logistical nightmare considering you don't know whether the material came from JoMarie Payton Noble or JudyAnn Elder, even though the latter wasn't there that long.

The funny thing is Dave...this TGIF love-in reminds me of the time a buddy of mine brought in a box of those Impel TGIF cards from the 90s, and we sat there busting pack after pack of Full House, Family Matters and Perfect Strangers cards. That was the best set ever. Sadly, the market for Urkel rookie cards has fallen since '91.
