    Sent out a trade with someone I have traded with here several times on Monday and have yet to receive. So, my question is what is the longest time a fellow Canadian has taken to receive a package via XPRESSPOST?

I find it frustrating b\c if we were to send the trade regular mail, it would have taken the same amount of time in normal circumstances. Postage for XPRESSPOST is around $7 and in the past we usually complete the trades in a day or two. Do I have any reason for concern here? Let's hope not.

It's not uncommon to have expresspost take longer than regular mail, I've had it happen several times. Also had a few Expresspost packages take well over a week - guess they couldn't get the mules started :D

lol. Guess I have just been lucky so fair then. I just need to chill out since both packages have been sent and if something went wrong, the packages will be returned to sender. Thanks for the reassurance!

I also have had it take longer than a week, very rare though! Within Canada it takes usually between 1-3 days and 3-5 to the US, I have had only one package get lost and it was to the US, I'm sure it will show up soon.

If it's Expresspost, can't you hop on their website and check to see if the package number has been entered anywhere yet? If it did go out Monday, the initial drop off should be in the system by now.

Yah, I went to the site and the packages have been sent they're just taking longer than usual to arrive. Not worried about the packages getting lost. I have one around 20 trades with Xpresspost, most within Ontario and they all take less than 3 business days. Tomorrow would be the 4th or 5th, so it should be here shortly.

Lovely!! I just called Canada Post and they said the package was delivered and that there's nothing else they can do =/. Also mentions on the website that the package has been delivered and should be in my possession. Perhaps it got stuck at the PO??

I've also had this happens and usually it a delivery guy that couldn't make it before his shift was done but registerd it so his work was done for the day. Both times it showed up the next day.

My end got his package yesterday, so even he got it one day late. Let's hope my end shows up tomorrow or I am seriously going to hurt someone

Wonderful. Looks like my end was either stolen or misplaced. My end actually got his package on Tuesday like he should have and I have yet to receive mine. Question. Does the delivery confirmation on the Canada Post Site mean that package was sent to my house or to a local post office?

This is really frustrating and I find it really annoying that a priority package can get misplaced and that it takes this long to rectify this situation. Looks like I will have to have the cards replaced somehow. I only put a value of $100 on the cards though when they're actually worth $300..****!! Sorry a little bit ticked here.

This whole ordeal is draining me out, but it is a reality check that perhaps I should not be taking the hobby so seriously. Worst case scenario is that I am out around $300 in cards, which is not that big a deal to me since I have wasted much more than that on wax. YAY me.

Going to seriously consider getting out of the hobby though if this doesn't work out though. To everyone I have traded with (all 3 of you) thanks for the sweet cards.

Where these transactions done in the same province and did you have delivery confirmation??? This is really starting to concern me since in my year or so of trading I have not anything close to this happening =/.

Well, I have done around 20 trades with EXPRESSPOST and this is the only one I have had problems with. Ughz, I just need to chill out!

Had what happen? I was told by the sender in this trade that the DC on the Canada Post site means that the package was sent to my house. So, are you saying that a delivery guy simply hasn't sent my package yet eventhough it is entered in the system? Odd, that a package would sit in the post office for 3 days =/

I sent a parcel from Toronto to Kitchener Yesterday....I got an email today stating the other party got the package. 1 Day turnaround....It works sometimes :)

It's worked 99.9% of the time, just the one time it doesn't is annoying. Well, my buddy called Canada Post and the whole situation is being looked into, so hopefully I'll get my $100 shortly and a couple cards to even it out.

No I meant he didn't have time at the end of the day to drop it off and he had already scanned the package so it showed as "delivered" even though it was sittin in the back of the truck until the next day.
