I saw Vitaly Kolesnik play for Lowell here in Norfolk and thought it'd be cool to collect his cards. First he played awesome that night (9-2 i think) and it was cool to see someone who had just played for the Avs less than 20 feet away. Also it doesn't hurt that I can afford most of his cards. Excluding The Cup Plates I have all but 2, I missed out on the 1/1 Hot Prospects when some dude swept in at the last moment and jacked up the final price and haven't seen the White Hot appear yet.

For me this is what it's about, having fun

Awesome collection!! It's always fun chasing down cards you need for a player collection. No matter how big or how small! Great job snaggin these ones and good luck getting the last couple.

Oh man that is so true. You see that card in my sig? Paid $100 for it like a fool thinking I would never see one again. A week later at the expo it was sitting in someones case and I picked up another copy for $35! Oh well it's all part of the game
