This is pretty cute but a bit tragically also, there're some seller who collected as kid and are trying to selling those cards for insane prices now with no perception of market in todays.
Not even 50% of the set but check at the price!

-------------------------------

Here in sweden at our own "ebay" tradera there iwas a seller who's trying to selling a Ultra Pro 4-pocketed mini binder with 40 cards (you know that one with unremoverable pages), those cards was like those 94-95 Ultra + 95-96 Ultra 1:1 inserts as Rising Stars, Red Light, Award Winners, AS plus base cards etc... but the seller wants 1000 SEK (about $150!!!) for that crap!

But the seller described the cards as extremely valuable, the price is non-negotiable!

Many thinks too high about their cards who're totaly worthless for now.

I will reserve my comments on this seller but if anyone wants details feel free to pm me.

Odd how he has sold the same card more then once recently. The quad patch from the cup and the Horak/Bouma shield card. Must have had a few non-paying bidders?

Yes it seems he has had a run of bad luck with NPB's........

Many of his completed auctions ended with only 1-2 bids... well except for the higher end stuff... maybe trying to make some money back

I actually have documentation of shilling over on another forum, as we have been watching this guy like a hawk recently. His shipping of high end items via PWE's have caught up with him recently on his eBay feedback. I won't say any more lest I be subject to discipline, but this is not all we have on him.

Screw it...now I am just upset after seeing the proof in the pudding. You guys be the judge and see for yourself the stuff we dug up:

So in addition to shipping my CUP card in a PWE, I think we have a shiller on our hands as well. I will admit that I cannot 100% confirm it, as there is not enough evidence to prove such an occurrence is happening, but it just looks too "neat."

Exhibit A: 11/12 CUP Dual NHL Logo Shields of Lance Bouma / Roman Horak sold on July 12. He WON this...for FREE...in GB #2085.

Exhibit B: Auction shows a winning bid of $246.50 won by a member with 4 positive feedback.

Exhibit C: winning bidder has bid on 66% of his items, and only 1 bid on the Cup shield.

Exhibit D: Card is now up for auction yet again.

I took a look at both esper's feedback received and feedback he left for others and the sold auction doesn't come up...so I'm not able to prove or disprove that the item actually sold legitimately. However, the original auction ended on July 12...this new auction ends on July 20...that's a matter of 8 days and he runs his auctions for 7 days. To me, that says that he shill-bid his item to see if it would reach a certain amount. When it didn't, he simply listed it again almost immediately. How is he supposed to know that the 'buyer' wasn't going to pay in a day? It just all seems too fishy to me. A little too 'neat.' A little too convenient.

Got him again...now thrice:

Exhibit E: Card ended on June 30th for $355

Exhibit F: Card ended on July 14th for $332.25

Exhibit G: Card now up online for the 3rd time.

And now, for a 4th time:

Gotcha
