In the absence of evidence that this is a legitimate trading card company, with agreements at at least the player level, these seem like the very definition of "junk" cards to me - just like all of the Lindros foil cards that were cranked out in the tens of thousands (if not more) and numerous other examples of unlicensed, illegitimate cards that have illegally used the intellectual property of others in order to make a fast buck. They should be recognized as such by the hobby and valued appropriately - that is, next to nothing.
This is not about personal value judgments regarding how a card looks, etc.; rather, it is about maintaining the integrity of the hobby. If we allow every Joe Blow and his momma to stamp out a few cards and turn this into a home-grown collectibles market, there is will be little to no ability to ensure anything about the production process, from card stock quality to customer service to compensation to various owners of the intellectual property, and there would be little point in continuing to collect for me.
I would think these points would be self-evident to any thinking person and that therefore the classification of "junk" for these cards would therefore naturally follow without question. It's old territory discussed ad nauseam over decades, now.
