GAI authenitcated opinions

Hoping that some of you out there may be able to help me out.. was looking at picking up a couple new pieces to my puck collection that will be tough for me to obtain IP.. they are GAI COA is this a reputable company? I know nothing is 100% unless you see it signed but how are they compared to say PSA or JSA.. thanks for your opinions

They are definitely several steps below PSA/JSA in terms of what collectors opinions are of them. At one point in time many years ago, GAI was a pretty reputable authenticator, not so much these days, as i just mentioned. Do your home work on the players you are buying and form your own opinion on the items if you are to buy them with a GAI cert (or any COA actually). Or better yet, post the items in this thread and let the community help you with their authenticity.

agreed. they tend to authenticate just about anything these days. you can watch them at a table at a show and see them just look at the item, then slap on the sticker if they think its legit.

Do you guys remember that video a few years a go where JSA was authenticating fake autos? It was one of those under covers deals. I also remember the show stated the only company to pass their test was GAI.
