Simon Gamache, he's 26 now, was a scoring whiz in juniors and then in the nhl. (was actually chl player of the year). Just one of the players I have always liked!

Maybe they can make a line of Gamache, Wellwood and Stajan and scare the hell out of....well, nobody.
Or better yet they could put White and Colaiacovo on the point and they could form the NHL's best powerplay units consisting of CHL underacheivers! With Raycroft in net who else could compete with that?! LOL

He played an outstanding season here in Switzerland. With a bit luck, he could score 50 points in the NHL.

He did actually look pretty good though when he played. He's fiesty for his size... has some skill and definitely some heart. He's not one of those talented guys who don't care or try- he actually puts forth an effort.
He did get a fair chance though and didn't quite make it primarily because the Leafs have a lot of guys on 1 ways (i.e. Devereaux, Battaglia, Pohl, Belak) who are better suited than Gamache for the 4th line role.

Ok he was fantastic tonight. He was all over the ice when he was on.
