I disagree.

Alex Ovechkin 0
To be somewhat fair on this, Hull's Cup with Dallas shouldn't count, but don't want to open that wound for Buffalo fans.....
His second Cup he pulled the "I just want a Cup" card and went to a team that included Yzerman, Shanahan, Federov, Robitaille, Larionov, Datsyuk, Maltby, Draper, Holmstrom, Lidstrom, Chelios, Duchesne, Hasek, etc. It was a bought and paid for Cup from a team of all stars who wanted to win a Cup and took less money to do it. I would have won a Cup on that team.
Ovechkin is who he is, I said years ago he should not have been named captain as that's not who he is. It takes a team, not one player, you can't put all the blame on him. However, it may sting for a year or two, but there are teams who will pay heavily to trade for him as his name alone will put butts in seats along with merchandise revenue, so the Caps would be smart to entertain offers for him. He's only 31 and I think he could net you a mid-high first round pick, stud prospect, and a very good player. I could see a team like Colorado entertaining this with maybe Duchene or Landeskog going the other way. They are not Ovechkin, but it's a darn good start.
Backstrom is the oil in the Caps engine, he is untouchable IMO.
