Gamer question...What's a set 2 or set 3 gamer?

I've been thinking of getting into the Gamer jerseys for a while now and actually picked one up already (I'll post that on another thread), but I've been wondering what it means when someone says it's a set 2 or a set 3 gamer? Just curious......

So is there more value when you're getting a set 1 compared to a set 3 or is it each to their own decision.....

Set 1 or 2 will typically have more wear than a 3, but it all depends on the teams.

So wear set 3 only in the playoffs others wear set 3 at the end of the season.

Honestly there is no difference in value of set 1, 2, or 3.. the amount of wear, significance of events in jersey (goals) etc.. , fights etc.. accentuate the jersey

The only real benefit to owning a set 1 jersey (value wise) might be for a players first NHL game or goal etc. Of course, if a player is a late season call-up, that jersey would be a set 2 or 3. Like Bert said, "what happened" while wearing the jersey seems more important than "what time" it was worn.
