Ryan...if you pick it up Legends of Wrestlemania, please let me know how it is because we're dying to know and don't want to take the plunge unless it's any good (I heard it's supposed to be arcade style, and don't want it to be Royal Rumble for Dreamcast-esque.) The roster is a bit of a headscratcher too. I'm the world's biggest (and possibly only) Kamala fan...but the only Wrestlemania I can remember him being on the card for is IX, and his match with Bam Bam got nixed due to time restraints. He may have been on the battle royale at Wrestlemania XVII because I seem to remember a backstage skit with William Regal where Regal was yelling "HE WANTS ME TO RUB THE MOONS ON HIS BELLY?" but I don't know if that was at the event or on Raw.
I'm just wondering how hard they stretched to get some of this roster...I understand that they'll never get Demolition, Randy Savage and Lex Luger in the game because of the circumstances in which they left, lawsuits caused by or the fact that McMahon doesn't want to do business with them anymore, but there's no reason the game couldn't have Edge, Christian, the Hardyz, Windham and Rotundo, Hillbilly Jim, Bob Backlund, Paul Orndorff, Rick Steamboat, Shane O'Mac and Eddy Guerrero. Orndorff was in the main event of the first one for crying out loud. I'm assuming they aren't able to put in the likes of Mick Foley, Kevin Nash and Kurt Angle because of their contracts with TNA, so that's not something that's really in their realm of control.
Half of me sort of wonders that why with the inclusion of 10 other deceased wrestlers, they were unable to secure estate rights to Owen Hart, especially since they're on good enough terms to secure Bret and Davey Boy. Owen would have been a welcome inclusion, imo.
I guess there's always DLC. It would've been nice to see a women's roster. They'll never get Madusa in the game to come back as Alundra Blayze, but that doesn't stop the ability to get Moolah, Leilani Kai, Sherri, Trish, Lita and Ivory. Oh well. Just my usual bantering
