Gamers...what are you playing right now?

For anybody interested...the 3 main console versions of Lego Batman is on sale at HMV right now for $20. I don't know if it applies to all of Canada, but no harm in checking right?

how badly is your disk scratched? 9 times outta 10 when mine's scratched I just clean it w/ toothpaste and it works like a charm. although if its severely scratched then you might be outta luck.

it's not too bad but when i put it into the console, it just says disc unreadable...i look at the disc and it's just a circular arc along the outer edge

I have discs that are scratched up, but they work fine. Is UFC the only one that doesn't work, as I had this problem when I tried to play Mirrors Edge and it was brand new. I recomended trying the other discs. And if all else fails, I'm sure a CD store or even EB Games have cd repairs

are you using a xbox 360? if so, how do you have it set up? by the sounds of things, its the system that has scratched your disc (fairly common with 360s). if you don't have a warranty with the store you bought it from, and the toothpaste don't work I'd suggest contacting microsoft, usually if you tell them what happened (the system wrecked your disk) they'll replace it.

as for stores that resurface: not sure about out your way but here the only place i know of that does them is blockbuster or videotron (rogers video stores elsewhere i think). EB games won't repair them (i would know).
hope this helps.

i am not sure but i will look into cleaning it first, all my other games work fine...and i've been killing street fighter 4 and ghostbusters

Beat Army of Two, really liked this game good ending and that Clyde guy in the game is really friggen creepy. Gonna have to call up a buddy and play some Co-op.Or should I get into Fracture??? Hmmmmmm

I just finished renting ghostbusters and have mixed feelings on it.
The XBOX Live levels I found were kind of tough and it was very easy to get booted while in session. As for the single player mode, some levels were fun while others were kind of redundant.

I was thinking of picking up the Terminator Salvation game. Has anyone tried it yet and if so, how do you rate it?

I've heard "4 hours of gameplay with no replay value" and a rental at best. If you play the game on hard and beat it, you get all of the achievements...but I've heard that the skill jump between medium and hard is phenomenal and almost frustrating.

Thanks for the info Chad...I might rent it then next time.

So instead, I decided to rent the slighty new game "Wolverine" today and if anyone has not tried it yet or were leary, there is no need to worry as this game is freakin' cool.
The graphics and cinema style gameplay mesh well with the visceral kill tactics.

Bottomline, if you always wanted to know what it was like to be Wolverine in the X-Men comics, or love tearing apart your enemy in gory fashion, then I highly recommend you at least rent it.

I have only played it for one day, so I'm not sure if this is a purchase game, but most definitely it keeps you in your seat.

I've heard similar things about Wolverine...essentially that it sort of makes up for the movie it's based on :D

So what am I playing...Currently about 94% of the way through Lego Batman, working on 100...the minikit grinding in this game is not as fun as it was in Star Wars, and I'm not looking forward to the grinding end of Indiana Jones now when I pick up on that again.

After Lego Batman and Lego Indy...dunno. I picked up Prince of Persia on Friday on recommendation because EB was selling it for $10 so that might be next.

Just polished off Godfather 2. Great game like the first one, but no replay value to it either. Just started Kane & Lynch simply because I grabbed it cheap. Wolverine sounds like a future pick up, so thanks for that info.

I'm working on a "BE AN NHL PRO" seaon with Tanguay in NHL '09, and I just tried out Tiger Woods '10 with the new Wii Motion Plus controls.....snagged a hole in one on the second hole of my first game....LOL

"wikkid!!!"

Still haven't cracked open Madworld yet......

Not "wikkid". "Wii-kkid".

Finished Ghostbusters on the Wii. Highly enjoyed. Will be replaying.

I busted out God of War 2 for the PS2. I'm thoroughly enjoying carving my way through the Greek pantheon, one bloody divine corpse at a time. Yo, Zeus - I'm comin' for you.

At the moment i'm writing this message :) But seriously i'm playing Guitar Hero Metallica with PS2, nice game after all.
