Gamers...what are you playing right now?

PSP Resistance: Retribution. read all the reviews and it was very highly rated and decided to try it and luckily for me EB Games had a used copy for 19.99. it's a first person shooter type game and i have played the first level and so far so good. there is a lot of cut scenes in the game and i actually watch them unlike other games since they are pretty informational and the graphics are very good. the game play is also fun. lots of different kinds of weapons and interaction with other characters and environments..it's also a PSP exclusive..
 
I started playing Dead Space and am really enjoying it. Nothing like actually jumping off the couch when things start coming out of no where to attack you.
 
If you like that game, you'll also like Syphon Filter Dark Mirror or Logans Shawdow. Both we top games when they were released. They are just like Resistance, same graphics, controls and cutscenes

Well I finished Dead Space, really enjoyed the game but I would suggest playing it on the hardest difficulty the first time you play it. I played it on medium and for the most part found it fairly easy. I've got Godfather 2 sitting sealed but I think I'll either go back to Oblivion or Gears of War 2.

i played syphon filter on xbox way back when and didn't like it all that much. most likely b/c i was younger and wasn't into that sort of genre.

resistance retribution seems to have no end in site. played for almost 20 hours and still only 20% done.. O_o
 
I've got so many games sitting unopened or unplayed, I don't know what to do:

MadWorld for the Wii
Dark Mirror and Logan's Shadow for the PSP
Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Legendary Starfy and Ninja Gaiden for the DS
F.E.A.R and F.E.A.R. 2 for the PS3...

not to mention all the unfinished games on the various systems.....this is getting crazy...LOL
 
lol rob i know what you mean. i have the habit of getting games..playing them once or twice..then forgetting i had them...here's a list..wwe smackdown vs raw 2008, Hustler, wipeout pure(wow first game i got for my psp), crisis core, force unleashed and that's it..for now..i still want the indiana jones game -_-
 
Been bored with my 360 lately. Beat Army of 2, Fracture I don't wanna get into. But I think a some Halo 3 will bring me back. Have to buy a time card soon *groan*
 
Wii - Zelda, Mario Galaxy
PS3 - Force Unleashed, MGS4, GTA4
PC - Neverwinter Nights 2 (3rd time through), Bioshock, Crysis

I can't tie down to one game at a time because if I get stuck and frustrated I destroy controllers throwing them at the wall or floor so this way I can just switch to something else for a bit
 
Bought Lego Batman, fun game. Like the graphics, fun gameplay and challanging. Bit slow on loading cut scenes, but is withstandable. One of the best 15 bucks I spent on a game for my psp
 
It rained a whole week, so I got a ton of gaming done.

XBox 360: Call of Duty 4, NHL09.. the usual suspects. I was also playing a lot of CoD: World at War until the disc MYSTERIOUSLY cracked.. :| I also rented Guitar Hero: Metallica and Smash Hits and beat them both on Hard. (I can't play all the songs on Expert :( )

Nintendo DS: New Super Mario Bros. - still trying to complete the game..
The Simpsons Game- bought it for the hell of it, fun game
Big Brain Academy- super fun game, like all games have to be of the Sports or Shooter genre

and finally, Pokemon Platinum, I know what most people think, Pokemon is a kids game, however it's one of the funnest RPGs out there, I spent A LOT of hours playing that when it was raining.
 
Wow...so I WAS playing Dead Rising...but it looks like I'm done now. I'm not going to bother with the BS that is the respawning convicts.
