BRUINS (33-16-2) at SABRES (22-24-6)

TV: NBCSP (HD), TSN2

LAST 10: Boston 5-4-1; Buffalo 4-5-1.

Season Series: Third of six meetings between these Northeast Division rivals. The Bruins earlier beat the Sabres twice in the span of 12 days, as Tyler Seguin scored twice and added an assist in a 6-2 win on Nov. 12 in Boston, while Benoit Pouliot's goal in the fifth round of a shootout proved decisive in a 4-3 victory on Nov. 23 in Buffalo.

Big Story: In danger of losing three straight for the first time since their Stanley Cup hangover-plagued month of October, the Bruins responded with a decisive win in Washington on Sunday and will now look to string back-to-back victories together, something Boston hasn't accomplished in its last dozen games. The Sabres, meanwhile, have a ways to go in order to climb back into the playoff picture, but their rally against the Islanders on Saturday night was a good starting point.

First thing I hear on the news is.."it's the meeting between Lucic and Miller ...How will Sabres react?"
UMMM--it's not that important than playing hockey and start that climb--We need the points ..Hopefully Leopold can check the Bruins as well as he "checked" Ruff during practice.
GO SABRES !!!

Looks like the refs are going to let the Sabres get away with everything as they continue to give make up calls from the Miller incident. That was about the most BS no goal call Ive ever seen. Hard to intentionally bump the goalie when someone has a full body hook on you. Ridiculous.

As mentioned before--The SABRES don't need any help from anybody.
Most recently they defiantly know how to screw up---but defiantly don't need any "pity" calls from any referee--

Sabres up now 2-0..the scraps meh....ain't nothing to write home about and defiantly nothing to send a message...Keep focused and play the game and get those damn points Buffalo.

two days, two atrocious missed goals.

Lets hope it doesnt comes down to a one goal difference like last night.....

That was about the most BS no goal call Ive ever seen.

See the end of the Rangers game last night.

What team is this on the ice??
No feelings of doubt for a let up--We'll see at the end of 60 though..
So far so good Ennis w/ a sweet back hand..3-0

4-0 w/ a Kaleta goal--end of 2nd period--20 minutes to still play guys...
Thomas in relief after Rask was pulled.

No matter the score of this game, Buffalo is surely not built for playoff hockey (nor will they make the playoffs). Eventually you have to stand up for yourself (and not just be a punching bag) and not be pushed around. Buffalo just has no grit. No worries from this game. Bruins need Horton back, wouldn't have figured his absence would be this noticeable. Krejci is on the third line and lost it seems.

Announcers have it spot on, B's are just frustrated and disinterested after being shafted in the first. It doesnt even look like they're trying out there.

Good game for the Sabres. Would like to see a Sheldon Brookbank on the Sabres instead of Weber though.

A very strong showing by the Sabres 6-0--unexpected but it does help in the points.
Miller w/ the shutout....

Much like the game against Carolina earlier in the season the Bruins cross the line and get hammered. They don't need to do it, they can run teams over, and run teams over, but when they go too far they seem to lose.

I love no one giving the Sabres credit for the win. Buffalo took apart the "Big Bad Bruins" tonight and all anyone can talk about is what the B's did wrong. When you take it on the chin 6-0, the other team probably did something right.
