Esa Tikkanen comes to mind.....along with Ken Linseman, Claude Lemieux, Ulf Samuelsson, Matthew Barnaby, Darius Kasparaitis and Dale Hunter.....

Sorry about hijacking the thread guys, this'll be my last post on it. I think the difference between these guy , Barnaby and Tikkanen aside, didnt run around laughing in peoples faces while they did their work. They all were grabbed at one time or another and beat silly by someone. That just cant happen anymore, which is too bad sometimes. Am I wrong to wish that?

Lol.
And Hortons finger to Habs fans was pretty classy heh?

I think that was kinda funny, not rude.
If it wasnt the Bruins, im sure you would be laughing.

Not particularly...and it was Ference, if you are going to go back to that. He deserved to get punished...and did

Horton with the water bottle incident deserved to be punished...its just stupidity, no need for it.

Bruins, or non-Bruins, I personally cant stand that crap, that's all. I;m talking in general

Great game by the Nucks...big win. This was Boston's to loose. Chara needs to pull Burrows down on that play. Thomas gets burnt twice for being overly aggressive...such is hockey. Looks like our hill just got a little bit bigger

Good teams win, great teams find ways to win

Okay.

Game one was the 13th win of the playoffs for the Canucks. The goal was scored by Raffi Torres, number 13

Game two was the 14th win of the playoffs for the Canucks. The goal was scored by Alex Burrows, number 14.

You think Tanner Glass dresses next game?

Sounds good Randy. Then Trevor makes a surprise come back dressing for Game 4 and scores the Stanley Cup winning goal making it four in a row!!! Be still my heart........;)

.

Nice game by Burrows. He should send a thank you letter to the league for their failure to see what everyone else saw.

Man there is so much i could say that would get me in trouble. Is it just me or does Chara give up the puck more than anybody else in the first 2 games. He looks slow and he doesnt seem to be as menacing as usual.Maybe he has an injury or something. But anyway great game and Burrows was great tonight.Lapierre and Burrows both had great games in my opinion.Im starting to love how much people hate us.Go Canucks,we need to get atleast 1 in Boston.

I don't think anyone hates you...I like Vancouver's play a lot...they are a phenomenal team. Boston is losing, so us Bs fans have to find something to btch about lol

I don't think anyone hates you but if that makes you feel better then ok. I think it is certain players like the classless Lapierre and the fact that the GWG was scored by a player that had no right playing. This is far from over. If the results were the other way I am quite sure that the complaining would be about Marchand or something else.

I hate them:p lol. Have for a long time, will for a long time. Good on them though for a great year and what is finally looking like a Cup win. I'll have to listen to all the Canucks fans talk about how great they are all summer. Arg.

I agree with the other B's fans. Vancouver used to be my favorite team as a kid and is still one of my favorites after the B's. I don't hate them, just need to let off the steam of two frustrating loses that could have gone either way.:|

If the shoe was reversed you would all be calling Lucic or Marchand an a-hole for doing what Lapierre did tonight. Same thing with the biting incident you would all be calling for heads to roll just like us from the BS explanation that the NHL gave the fans. It is insulting for us to half to listen/read a half-assed explanation when there is video evidence, hockey analysts, ex players, etc... that said the league screwed this one up. You had to think he was going to be a difference maker one way or another but he should send Mike Murphy a thank you card like bflyer said.

Our turn to take two at home starting Monday! Just stay in your net T-I-M-M-Y!

im with you Nate...keep the faith!!! I'll drink to that!

The league decided there was no biting incident. Looking at a replay and drawing a conclusion for yourself without any investigation is silly. If a Canucks player had been "bitten" and it did not change the outcome of the game or injure the player why would u suspend that player. Most biting incidents in the past one being by Boston's Marc Savard when he was a Thrasher and Ruutu were clear biting incidents where they went out of their way to do it. In this incident Burrows and Begeron were in a long scrum that had Begeron put his finger in Burrows mouth after that only Burrows and Begeron know what happened. What looks like Biting to someone on the replay can easily be seen as attempting to remove it. Not to mention we shouldn't be talking about how classless Burrows is when Peverly gives a clear 2 hander to Bieksa's knee tonight to try and injure him. It runs both ways. I won't be saying if Burrows did or did not bite him as there is no clear evidence for either side.

This stuff happens every year in the playoffs, usually with the same teams and players, it is frustrating as hell but you will never get a fan of those teams to admit their players did anything wrong, nor will they admit they would feel that way if the roles were reversed. It's part of being a fan, emotion is a powerful thing that makes you say and do things you normally wouldn't. Almost everyone outside of Vancouver agreed that Burrows should be suspended, the league didn't see it that way, and they make the rules and judgement calls. You had to know Burrows was somehow going to play a role in the game tonight and he ended up being in on all 3 Canuck goals. Gotta give credit where it's due, the guy knows what he did, he knows all eyes are on him, and under all the pressure and scrutiny he has arguably the best and most meaningful game of his career. For as big of a puke as he can be at times, he sure proved he could handle pressure and perform under pretty tough circumstances so as much as it sucks you gotta give the guy some credit for doing what he did tonight. You don't have to respect how they play, or some of the players they have, but there is no denying their desire and they are proving why they ended up number one all season.

B's are right there with them, maybe home ice gives them that little extra edge, but the Nucks are on a roll and they are proving they want it more right now. Contrary to what Q says, I think this is over in 4 or 5.
