So it's the 2nd period, Canada is up 2-1 and Zack Kassian just got 5 minutes and a game for a phantom call. I'm surprised it took this long (the second game) for the horrible IIHF officiating to show up. Hopefully the porcelain rules don't screw Canada or the US to badly.

Looks like Canada is turning on the jets - good for them - would love to see another NA final this year.

From what I have seen in the games this year, they continue to call ticky-tack stuff all over the ice and overract to any type of significant contact. Will be difficult for the more physical teams (USA, Canada, Finland) as this tournament continues - I will continue to be confused by international refs.

By the way - how good in the backline in Nashville going to be in a couple of years - Suter, Weber, Franson, Ellis, Blum, Roussel - sick

Very solid game for Canada, I am still skeptical about Roy. I think we could have another Jake Allen situation on our hands in a meaningful game.

Cheap spear by the Czechs. Kassian's hit wasnt a typical "head shot".....but there was contact to the head based on the video I have seen. Tough call for the officials.....

Anyone hear if Schwartz is actually hurt, or anything serious that is? I only saw part of the game, and they kept mentioning he was, but I didn't know from what or how bad.
