I'm not saying the Hawks shouldve said anything but you think Thornton sticking his knee out to trip one of the Hawks wasnt dirty. please

??? There is a difference between a play on the ice and giving a player crap when his head is sliced open...it just shows a lack of respect among players. Nothing against Chicago at all. when a player is injured...you do not taunt them...thats the classless part

Not sure who said it on the Hawks bench (if Eager or Burish were still in town it would be a no brainer) but not a smart move on their part. It is an unfortunate thing and it happens a lot more then people might think. I seem to remember Lucic (or maybe it was even Thornton) being involved in something like this earlier in the year, I could go back and find it I'm sure if I wanted to waste the time, but he was mocking an injured opponent as well.

I remember that. It's completely stupid and classless. I don't care who you are. BTW...Thornton needed 40 stitches....40!! To quote a fellow HIer, Jeebus!
