BLACKHAWKS at COYOTES

(Phoenix leads best-of-seven series 3-1)

TV: NBCSN, TSN, RDS, CSN-Chicago (HD), FS-Arizona+ (HD)

Big Story: The Coyotes return to Jobing.com Arena with a chance to do something they've never done since moving from Winnipeg in 1996 -- win a playoff series.

And as expected, we are seeing it already. Missed penalties, missed icings, blown offsides calls, and we are still early in the first. Anyone wants to talk conspiracy, watch this series (and the DET/PHX series last year). When you play the National Hockey League Coyotes, you have to beat the team, the refs, and the league. The NHL needs the Coyotes to win, they need national attention on them, and it shows crystal clear.

Smith has been phenomanal, no doubt, but every single call/non-call is going the way of one team. They can at least try to not make it so blatantly obvious......

Overtime again, really? This is getting a bit obsurd now. Hawks dominate them again, almost double the shots on goal, and Smith once again has the lucky horseshoe crammed in his tailpipe.

I am going to eat these words some day, and I cant believe I am going to put this in writing but....... For the first time in my life I sure wish Carcillo was playing, this series might be a bit different with him in the lineup. At least one Hawk would be giving back some of the nastiness the Yotes are dishing out.
