BLUE JACKETS (13-13-6) at CANUCKS (17-9-6)

TV: FS-O, SNET-P

Last 10: Columbus 7-1-2; Vancouver 6-3-1

Season series: Third and final meeting of the regular season. Each team had 2-1 victory in Columbus in extra time with the Canucks getting their victory in a shootout and the Jackets getting theirs in overtime.

Big story: The Canucks are in a battle for the Northwest Division for the first time in two seasons, and suddenly points coming down the stretch actually matter. The Blue Jackets are making an improbable push for the postseason are just one point back of eighth place entering Monday's games.

:canucks: out shoot the :jackets: 25 - 8, knotted at Zero.

Bobrovsky has seen more rubber than a dead skunk on the 401.....

Regulation solves nothing...

This one is headed to OT still tied at ZERO. :dizzy:

Shots favour the :canucks: 31 - 15...

Now that this one has ended on Lapierre's goal, which won't be credited to him as a GWG or a goal towards his totals.

Does the same apply to the two tenders, in that they both garner a Shut Out?

If it goes to the shootout both goalies are credited with a shutout. Each goalies third of the season.

And the wonderful thing is, as well as a shutout, Bobrovsky gets a loss.

Quite the accomplishment, to lose when you don't allow any goals...

Welcome to the wonderful world of NHL statistics.
