My throat had just gotten better before the Flyers-Carolina game, and the Flyers' comeback decided to ruin it, so I wasn't as vocal as I'd like ot have been for this one. Still, a great time.
I saw A LOT of Pens fans at the game today, more so than any other Flyers-Pens game since the lockout ended. During dancing guy's segment (Flyers fans know who I mean), two fans got into a scuffle.
As for the game, it was pretty dominant by the Flyers. Biron made enough saves, and the Flyers carried a lot of the play, especially early. Matt Carle had a nice return, and Timonen had a career-high 4 assists.
Another non-call on a board, this time on a hit on Timonen, but I'm used to it. Gotta love Eric Goddard swinging at a guy who still had his gloves on then punching him while he's laying on the ice. Didn't he used to be a tough guy? I'm not saying no one else does it, but I thought he was one of the more respected guys.
