Georges Laraque to Sweden?

There have been speculations and statements that Georges Laraque may return to his 2004-05 lock-out team AIK Solna where he played a few games and helped the team back to the second highest division. Since AIK Solna has some economical problems, Georges has stated that he is willing to play for free, just as long the team covers for room, food and travels. AIK is currently in a spot to reach the qualification, "Kvalserien" where 2 teams from the highest division meet 4 teams from the second highest division in 10 rounds. The two teams in the top of that group will move to the highest division, Elitserien.

My hats off to Georges if he returns.

The guy wants to play, if only to stay in shape for another run at an NHL team. Good on his part, I would love to play in Europe for a year. Sure beats this dump
