I dunno guys but I've really for some reason been thinking about giving up my Dirk Nowitzki Collection, and collecting in general. I just got done messing up my car(not on purpose lol) and it needs pretty much a new engine put inside it, which will cost at least 1,200. But for a little bit more with my dirk cards and stuff I can buy me a new 03 Chevy Xtreme truck which I've always wanted, or I can not give up my collection, and pay 200 for a used transmission and put it into one of my other cars 88' Grand Am and drive that piece of crap for a while, and save up during the summer, I dunno help me out guys, give me some opinions.

P.S. I really really don't wanna give up my Dirk collection as I know that it's probably the best in the world, nvm IT IS the best in the World! But if it really must come down to it, priorities must be met first I guess. But I really wasnt looking to get rid of this collection for another good 5-10 years.

Eric Draven really comes down to what you think/need to be done. I would say hold onto it but that is me. For each of us our priorties change over time as I use to collect cards up until about 1993 then gave it up to concentrate on autographing. Buying a 2003 Chevy Truck would be one heck of a way to part with your Dirk collection and would really have something to show for snagging all those cards off ebay. I say hold the collection but honest comes down to what you really want to do with the collection.

$1200 is cheap. I had to get head gaskets replaced and the dealership wanted $2000, Had a friend to do it at his house, instead of at the shop, for $1400. So, if you getting a new engine, that's cheap.

It's a new used engine, I shoulda refraised that, oh and yeah that head casket can get u at a shop, I had the same problem they wanted like 1100 and I just bought the parts for 300 and all, and fixed it with my dad and uncle in like 3 1/2 hours. No wonder why they make so much money lol.

Jason, yeah the truck is really really nice, I mean the one's that are around here look like this(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Xtre...ryZ13488QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem.) But I mean I can live for a little bit driving a crappy 88' Grand Am, other than the transmission, nothing is wrong with it.

Kewl truck got to like the speedometer and the fire...looks like a sweet truck!!! I don't think you will go wrong either way--selling your dirk collection for this or holding onto it for awhile. Thanks for the link.

Jason I'm not exactly going for that same truck, but the one's around here are Black, Red, and Blue, and look just like that on the outside.

I'm prolly just gonna spend the 300 to put in a used transmition in my 88 Grand Am Guys, it's a lot cheaper, plus I already have the money aside to do that anyways, and then over the summer while I work at the racetrack I can save up for maybe a new car, or just the engine for the one I got, or I can put the engine in the one I got, and sell it, and buy a new car, I dunno, but the Dirk Collection is staying! YAY!
